Here are the basics of the Clear Winter season
Temperature: Cool, predominantly
Value: Deep
Chroma: Clear
Sister Season: Clear Spring
Best Colors: Black, Pure White, Icy Blue, Icy Pink, Hot Turquoise, True Red, Royal Purple.
Avoid: Dusty, muted colors, and pastels (opt for Icy versions of colors instead).
The Clear Winter looks best in clear, contrasting colors such as mixing bright White with dark Navy.
Black will always look good on you, but to maximize your coloring, pair it with a bright contrasting color.Your coloring can be striking, and your palette contains all of the beautiful jewel tones like Ruby Red, Emerald Green, and Sapphire Blue.
As a Clear Winter, you are a blend of both Winter and spring (Winter flowing into Spring), so you will find some of the most intense Spring colors in this palette like bright coral and icy yellow. However, they are best used sparingly as accent colors.
If you haven't noticed yet, many images I use on this site are marked "ColorBreeze Art". This is part of my new artwork and visuals I have created with the help of AI, among other digital photo software. I will be slowly adding more images over time. Here are some for this season.
