I was First Draped in 1984

I was 21 or so when I was introduced to color analysis. I was selling Amway and they had a line of makeup products. The woman over me was trained in draping and not only draped me but also taught me to drape. It was the 4 season system made popular by Carol Jackson at that time. Knowing my colors changed my life and I've never looked back. Years later, 5 or 6 years ago, I hired a stylist to help me get my closet sorted a bit. Part of her cost covered draping, I draped the same season, Summer, that I had all those years before. When we went to my closet, she was speechless that all my clothes were in those colors, I just needed help putting them together in a stylish way. But knowing that no matter how I styled myself, the colors would work together and flatter me has always been a positive for me.
